No President Left Behind

September 2, 2010

www.wepollock.com With a Presidency in failure Obama asks from help in all the wrong places. First, Warren Buffett is the primary beneficiary of Law and Financial based capitalism, no capitalism at all. Buffet is able to have regulations crafted to his business plan as needed and in advance of his strategic decisions. AIG gets a bailout and Buffetts reinsurance business is saved.. Buy a railroad right of way and have the regulation needed to build it out play into your hands, also have the financing show up mysteriously at your front door. We are living in a country where Mao would be a more effective president. Clinton on the other hand, and in comparison to little bush, has presidential stature, yet he started the chain reaction of deregulation that eliminated the force of law and fairness. Obama must be someones tool, perhaps the person behind the curtain is Mr. T or Evil Bert. We need to reduce the amount of corruption as a first step. We must make investments in a second bill of rights circa Franklin Delano Roosevelt. We are lacking the kinds of investment we need in a fundamentally based economy. Healthcare will not help people other than those selling insurance such as Buffett. People in high risk pools cannot afford a $600 a month premium. Every piece of legislation plays into the hands of corruption with Glass Steagall and Blanche Lincoln gutted. Government money must have a societal return and integrity and structured regulation must rue the day. The US was a

How A Woman Over 40 Can Lose Weight Permanently – The Top Dangers Preventing Your Ability To Lose Weight Permanently

September 1, 2010

Are you a woman over 40? Couldn’t you lose as much weight as you’d like to? Seriously, how often have you tried to lose weight without a permanent result? When doing work with with women over 40 I observe the same risks preventing permanent, long-term weight loss over and over…

Too Many Starvation Diets Deprivation diets start a cycle of weight loss, weight increase. Under 5% of these dieters experience permanent weight loss. Strive for an easy lifestyle change instead: Pay care to your body. When eating, stop when your body signals that you are “satisfied”. Relax and stretch your meals to last at least 15 minutes so your body gets the signal that you are satisfied. Modify your nutrition long-term to a balanced, full-value blended diet. Avoid hunger and stuffing.

Decrease stress Stress is closely tied to weight increase and inability to lose weight permanently: Learn and Apply Relaxation Methods Practice conscious breathing and go calm through your day Write down stressful situations and how you either can avoid or address them

Eating Without Control as a Substitute for Needs that Aren’t Met Many women over 40 eat to counterbalance, making it impossible to lose weight permanently: Check if you eat too many calories because you don’t plan for right meals Plan a meal for every day that reflects your true calorie requirements Pay attention to your body – Different moods will cause you to eat when you are not hungry. Have strategies available to deal with these moods, e. g. have a walk, call somebody on the phone or contact friends

Genetics Some women have a biological tendency to gain weight after 40. If your parents and grandparents are heavy, you might belong to this group making it harder for you to lose weight permanently: Intentional nutrition and regular physical activity is especially crucial if you belong to this group Accept the fact that you will probably never be as thin as a supermodel. Don’t place too much of your money in dieting and products, better get a trend and beauty consultation

Physical Inactivity Women over 40 frequently start gradually a desk-bound lifestyle- but physical activity is central to lose weight permanently: Get more exercise in your daily life, e.g. use the staircase instead of the elevator or walk instead of taking the car Begin a fitness plan and get some friends to do it in a group. You’ll hold each other accountable and have more fun doing it together. After all, exercising is about having fun- think of kids playing on the playground. They have a lot of fun and you should have it too Numerous easy exercises can be done at home without much equipment. Start the habit of doing them

If you plan carefully using a wedding checklist chances are the special day will be a joyous experience. Your list can be tailored for your specific needs and desires, which will help, relieve the inevitable stress as the day gets closer.
If at all possible six to twelve months before the wedding day your checklist should include the actual wedding date and time, lining up a florist and a caterer and also a photographer and a DJ. You will need to reserve the church and a location for the reception.
Your wedding checklist needs to include other important details such as, choosing who will be in the wedding party and ordering the invitations. You need to pick out a wedding gown, the wedding attendant’s dresses and the attire for the groom and groomsmen. And of course the all-important wedding rings.
All of the above are the most major things that you should arrange for as early as possible.
On you wedding checklist be sure to put reminders for details that will be happening closer to the date. Like ordering your wedding cake, flowers, sending out the invitations and final fittings for everyone’s wedding attire. You also
need a reminder to place a wedding announcemnet in your local paper.
There are other many other things that need to be on your wedding list such as,
deciding on music for the wedding, a guest book, printed knapkins, thank you cards, wedding favors, decorations and a limo service.
About a month to six weeks before your big day you should go over your wedding checklist to make absolutely sure you haven’t forgotten anything.
There are, of course, many more things than those listed above that you will need to put on your specific wedding planning checklist that are personal to your wedding, but the above will give you an idea of the things you need to include.
If you can afford it the top thing on your wedding checklist should be hiring a Wedding Planner to help you plan your special day. This can take a lot of stress off of you and your family and allow you to relax and enjoy the process and the actual wedding day.

Catherine Wheel – Heal (Happy days 1995)

September 1, 2010

Catherine Wheel – Heal (Happy days 1995) Catherine Wheel formed in 1990, comprising singer/guitarist Rob Dickinson, guitarist Brian Futter, bassist Dave Hawes, and drummer Neil Sims. Hawes had previously played in a Joy Division-influenced band called Eternal. They took their moniker from the firework known as the Catherine wheel, which in turn had taken its name from the medieval torture device of the same name. The band was often included in the shoegazing scene, characterized by bands that made extensive use of guitar feedback and droning washes of noise, as well as their continuous interaction with extensive amounts of effects pedals on the stage floor. The band performed a Peel session in early 1991 while still unsigned; two 12″ vinyl EPs were released on the Norwich based Wilde Club Records, named after the regular weekly Wilde Club gigs run by Barry Newman at Norwich Arts Centre. They signed to major-label Fontana Records after being courted by both Creation Records and the Brian Eno-run label Opal Records. The band’s debut album, 1991/92′s Ferment, made an immediate impression on the music press and introduced Catherine Wheel’s biggest US hit, “Black Metallic,” as well as moderate hit “I Want To Touch You.” [3] The album features re-recorded versions of some of the Wilde Club-issued EPs. The more aggressive Chrome followed in 1993, produced by Gil Norton. With this album, the band began to shed its original shoegazing tag, while still making skillful use of
